The overall objective of the Research Fellow Partnership Programme for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources (RFPP) was to enhance the human resource base for research in the fields of agriculture, forestry and natural resource management in international development. RFPP aimed at generating development relevant knowledge, training young scientists and establishing research partnerships by supporting doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships.

RFPP started in 1996. It was funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) who decided to close the programme by end 2012. Until their conclusion, all ongoing projects will be managed by ETH Global.
